Our Director of Operations Siobhan Brenton has taken leave for personal reasons. We have every confidence that Siobhan will rejoin the team within a few months, but we are also taking this opportunity to ensure Rethink Charity is resilient to whatever may come.
We are thrilled to welcome SoonKhen “SK” OwYong to our team as Operations Engineer! We’re excited for SK to support all of our projects, especially fiscal sponsorship and RC Forward. We believe his focus on efficiency, optimization and automation is just what our projects need. SK has a background in software engineering and volunteered with High Impact Professionals prior to joining us.
Our Project Manager Ilva Ravinska has done amazing work on structuring and growing Rethink Charity’s fiscal sponsorship program. She also played a significant role at RC Forward. We’re wishing her well as she pursues a new opportunity in the effective altruism community.
We’ve been working to keep our community up-to-date on these changes. We have also been busy reprioritizing and nurturing staff well-being.
